Sizing Chart

This size chart is used for both our garmentry and our corsetry.

Always measure accurately over a non padded bra and buy the size that most closely approximates what your measurements are ie: if your measurements are 83;65; 90 - buy a Size 32 (12)

However if you are buying a corset, and are losing weight or are unsure, rather buy one size smaller as you will just have a slightly bigger gap at the back. If you are between two sizes, always buy the smaller one.

If you are a size 36, 38 or 40 (female) always buy one smaller, if you are larger that a size 40, always buy two sizes smaller than you are - Ie if you are a size 44, go for a size 40.

Please do not base your corset size choice solely on your waist measurement, Arwen does not use the waist measurement sizing commonly used for corset sizing. Rather our sizing is based on clothing sizing which is far more accurate.

To find out your size, measure around your bust, waist and hips. If you have a larger bust and smaller hips, buy the size that will fit your hips, not your bust as corsets are designed to fit a range of bust sizes and can easily be adjusted for a larger bust.

If your hips are larger than your bust, buy the size that will fit your bust as the hip in this case can be more easily adjusted.

Please note that we do have the following options for differently proportioned people:

Larger Bust: to fit D-cup and larger

Larger hips: If you are very pear-shaped

Extra tummy support and flattening

Shorter torso

Longer torso

Padded bust: for those who wanted a few extra curves (this option does cost R220 extra)

If you are in doubt over which size to choose, rather go for one smaller as you will just have a slightly larger gap between the laces.
